The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that LA 126., 1.6 miles West of US 167 is now closed due to high water/flooding.

Rainfall is continuing to occur very rapidly and is quickly covering roadways. Motorists should drive slowly and carefully, avoid driving while distracted and watch for flooded roadways. Always allow for extra driving time, reduce speeds when visibility is low, and make sure there is plenty of room between vehicles.
