H.010960-LA 30 Roundabouts @ Tanger Mall & I-10--Ascension Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) is providing an update on H.010960 which is comprised of constructing three new roundabouts along LA 30 in Ascension Parish. The project involves the construction of three roundabouts strategically located along LA 30 at the intersections of I-10 westbound, I-10 eastbound, and St. Landry Avenue.
LA 30 will have a right lane closure in the westbound direction, on Thursday October 15th, 2026 between Tanger Blvd and Robert Wilson Rd from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM. One lane of travel will be maintained at all times.
This closure is to remove concrete pavement and install asphalt pavement on LA 30.
The I-10 Eastbound off ramp will be fully closed Wednesday night, October 21, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM. Motorist looking to access LA 30 from I-10 Eastbound during this time should take the following detour:
I-10 EB: Bypass the exit and take Exit 179 to LA 44. Take a left onto LA 44, followed by another left onto LA 30 WB. This completes the detour. I-10 WB will not be affected by this closure. Motorists may still access LA 30 from I-10 WB.
This closure is to install the overhead sign and truss on the I-10 EB off ramp.
Motorists should expect delays when traveling through the work zone.
