UPDATE: I-10 eastbound over the Calcasieu River Bridge is now open to traffic.


Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that both lanes of Interstate 10 Eastbound over the Calcasieu River Bridge (MP 28.7) are closed for emergency repairs.

The emergency closure is necessary for crews to repair a broken finger joint. The closure is expected to remain in place into the evening of Tuesday, June 11, 2024.

DOTD will issue an update once the closure is lifted.
