Letting of 12/15/2017 in District 08 - Alexandria

Sealed bids for the following project(s) will be received by the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), 3300 MacArthur Dr., District 08 Headquarters Building, Alexandria, Louisiana 71302 until 10 a.m. on Friday, December 15, 2017,  at which time and place bids will be publicly open and read.  No bids will be received after 10:00 a.m.  Any person requiring special accommodations shall notify the Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) at (318) 561-5272 not less than 3 business days before bid opening.

Bids must be prepared and submitted in accordance with Section 102 of the 2016 Louisiana Standard Specifications for Roads and Bridges as amended by the project specifications, and must include all information required by the proposal.

After finalization, official plans and specifications may be seen either at the project engineer's office or at the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, District 08 Headquarters, 3300 Macarthur Drive, Alexandria, La. 71301. Bid Registration and proposals for bidding purposes shall be obtained  at Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, District 08 Headquarters, Design Section, 3205 Horseshoe Drive, Alexandria, La 71301, by calling (318) 561-5272 or toll free 1-800-542-3509, or email Kathy.Brown@la.gov. Written requests for plans and/or proposals may be sent to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, District 08 Headquarters, Design Section, P.O. Box 5945, Alexandria, La. 71307-5945. Plans and/or proposals will be transmitted upon payment of the required amounts, (not to be refunded). Proposal forms will not be issued within 24 hours before the opening of bids.
