This project consists of conducting a Stage 0 Feasibility Study to evaluate the constructability, safety, and operational feasibility of improvements to LA 1 from Port Allen to Plaquemine. The LA 1Corridor will be evaluated from its intersection with N Line Rd. to its junction with LA 988 (Schneblen St).
AECOM will prepare a formal traffic study for the purpose of analyzing alternatives to preserve and enhance mobility and safety on LA 1 while adequately serving current and future commercial and residential development.
During the study, there will be times dedicated to public comment and information.
