Project Description:
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that starting on Monday February 8, 2016, construction work will begin on LA 120 at its junction with LA 1221. The project is a curve realignment with a length of 0.720 miles.
The scope of work includes Clearing and Grubbing, Grading, Drainage Structures, Embankment, Lime Treatment, Class II Base Course, SUPERPAVE Asphaltic Concrete Pavement, and Related Work. This project was bid on 11/18/2015 and the contract was awarded to Specialty Contractors of Louisiana, LLC of Marthaville, LA. The amount awarded was $1,689,876.36. There are 90 working days allowed for this project.

Local traffic will be maintained at all times and no permitted loads will be affected.
