Milepost 6.180; Control Section 305-30
The LA DOTD advises the public that LA 486, Campti – Natchitoches Parish, will be closed at the Kansas City Southern Railroad track. The work will be done at Milepost 6.180 and is on Control Section 305-30. The closure will be Monday, February 18, 2013 at 8:00 AM till Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 5:00 PM. The closure is for LA DOTD to adjust the approaches on the railroad crossing.
Permit/Detour section
The Roadway will be closed completely to all traffic during this time. The detour will be US 71 South to LA 480 west to LA 486. The detour can accept oversized loads. The detour route will be identified with proper markings for the general public. All emergency agencies will be notified of the road closure.
