LA 469; Alligator Lake Road; LA 8 to Fort Polk

ALEXANDRIA, LA -- The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced today that LA 469 (Alligator Lake Road) from LA 8 to Fort Polk is open to traffic. Although the roadway is open to the traveling public, there will be temporary lane closures as the contractor, Diamond B Construction Co., continues to work on ancillary items for the completion of the project.

Permit/Detour section
There are no lane width restrictions on the project and one lane will be accessible at all times.
