I-59, St. Tammany Parish, Repairs

There will be a lane closure of the outside (right) lane of southbound I-59, near the West Pearl River (mile post 5.2) and going south approximately 3 miles (near mile post 2.4), on Friday night, February 8, 2013, at 7:00 PM through Monday, February 11, 2013, at 6:00 AM while crews perform concrete pavement repairs, weather permitting. In addition, the southbound lane closure of the outside (right) lane on I-59 from the Mississippi state line (near mile post 11.9) and going south approximately 1 mile (near mile post 10.9) will continue to remain in place.
One lane southbound will be open at all times on I-59.
Permit/Detour Section
By law, oversize loads are not allowed to travel at night. Emergency vehicles will have access.
Motorists traveling Southbound on I-59 from Mississippi into Louisiana may exit I-59 in Poplarville (exit 29) to MS 26, travel West on MS 26 to LA 10, continue West on LA 10 to Bogalusa, then take LA 21 South to LA 41, continue South on LA 41 to US 11, take US 11 South to I-12 Eastbound, travel East on I-12 to the I-10/I-12/I-59 interchange.
