Friday, 2/1/13 (10 PM – 6 AM)
  • I-10 WB right closure at Siegen for barrier removal.
  • I-10 EB right lane closure from the Ward’s Creek Bridge through the Bluebonnet overpass for paving.
  • EB Bluebonnet off ramp closure for concrete paving.
  • Detour: EB Mall of LA exit, U turn on Picardy overpass to Bluebonnet. 

Saturday, 2/2/13 (10 PM – 6 AM)
  • EB Bluebonnet off ramp closure for concrete paving.
  • Detour: EB Mall of LA exit, U turn on Picardy overpass to Bluebonnet.


Monday, 2/4/13 (9 PM – 5 AM)
  • I-10 EB right lane closure from the Ward’s Creek Bridge through the Bluebonnet overpass for paving.
  • EB Bluebonnet off ramp closure for concrete paving.
  • Detour: EB Mall of LA exit, U turn on Picardy overpass to Bluebonnet.
  • EB Essen off ramp reduced to one lane for guard rail installation.
  • Essen NB/SB reduced to one lane for misc. clean up


Tuesday, 2/5/13 (9 PM – 5 AM)
  • I-10 EB right lane closure from the Ward’s Creek Bridge through the Bluebonnet overpass for paving
  • WB Essen off ramp closure including exit lane back to Ward’s Creek Bridge) for guard rail installation.
  • Detour: I-10 WB, exit College u turn onto I-10 EB, exit Essen
  • EB Bluebonnet off ramp closure for concrete paving
  • Detour: EB Mall of LA exit, U turn on Picardy overpass to Bluebonnet
  • EB Essen off ramp reduced to one lane to form guard rail pad


These closures will allow vehicles 11-feet wide or less to pass through the construction zone.

I-10 Westbound will be open for regular traffic but oversize vehicles must detour using Exit 187 (US-61 North / Sorrento). Diverted traffic will be able to reach I-10 by traveling north along US-61, exiting onto I-12 Westbound and traveling west along I-12 until reaching I-10.

I-10 Eastbound will be open for regular traffic but oversize vehicles traveling east on I-10 must detour to I-12 at the 10/12 split, travel east along I-12, and use Exit 2A (US-61 South / Airline Hwy). Oversize vehicles traveling west on I-12 must detour using Exit 2A (US-61 South / Airline Hwy). Diverted traffic will be able to reach I-10 by traveling south along US-61 until reaching the I-10 on-ramp near Sorrento.
