What:              DOTD and the City of Leesville will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the completion of the lighting of the Leesville roundabout project.  

When:             Thursday, January 31 at 5:30 p.m.

Where:           The press conference will be held at the Leesville Chamber of Commerce       

1309 North 5th Street, Leesville, La. 

Why:               The ribbon-cutting will celebrate the completion at the decorative lighting project of the U.S. 171/La. 8/28 roundabout in Leesville. The project will help to improve traffic flow and safety throughout the intersection. The project was completed by Diamond B Construction Co., LLC, at an estimated cost of $603 thousand. The project was funded with federal and state safety funds.
