Tchoupitoulas Ramp, Orleans Parish

Change to the Tchoupitoulas ramp situation – The 6 AM to 10 AM exception allowing traffic turning to go downriver or straight down Calliope has been eliminated. Effective this morning:
Traffic coming off the bridge at Tchoupitoulas will not be allowed to turn left onto Tchoupitoulas Street or go straight onto riverbound Calliope Street. All ramp traffic will be required to turn right and use Tchoupitoulas Street in the upriver direction. This restriction is in effect through Sunday, February 3.
These restrictions are part of the traffic management plan for activities surrounding Super Bowl XLVII.
