The Bourg Company Canal Bridge on LA 24 in Bourg, LA will be closed to vehicular traffic from 8:00 a.m. on Monday November 2, 2015 until 3:00 p.m. on Friday November 6, 2015 and from 8:00 a.m. on Monday November 9, 2015 until 3:00 p.m. Friday October 13, 2015. These week long continuous closures are needed in order to allow LADOTD’s bridge repair personnel to perform structural repairs to the bridge.
The detour route around the work zone is as follows:
Westbound: LA 24 east to Klondyke, LA, to LA 55 south, to LA 58 west, to LA 56 north, to LA 24 at Presque Isle
Eastbound: LA 24 west to Presque Isle, to LA 56 south, to LA 58, east, to LA 55 north, to LA 24 in Klondyke, LA.
