The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that LA 1221 WILL BE OPENED to all traffic at 5:00p.m. today.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that on Tuesday, September 29th, 2015 at 8:00 am, LA 1221 will be closed 1.6 miles north of its junction with LA 120. The intent of this closure is to remove a 36 inch double barrel concrete pipe and replace with a 60 inch corrugated metal pipe. This closure is expected to last 2 days.
Permit/Detour section
The roadway will be closed to all traffic for the duration of the pipe replacement. There will not be a detoured route as this route ends approximately 2.3 miles north of the pipe replacement, which starts the beginning of Natchitoches Parish road named Bethany Highway Extension.
