OPEN HOUSE PUBLIC HEARING H.002344 PERKINS ROAD EA

The City of Baton Rouge and the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD)
are conducting a public hearing to assess the proposed construction of widening improvements to La
427 (Perkins Road) from the existing two-lane roadway to a four-lane divided roadway from Siegen Lane
to Highland Road. The purpose of this meeting is to provide information about the project and to obtain
public input on three design alternatives currently being proposed for the widening of this portion of
Perkins Road. The public hearing is a part of the Environmental Assessment phase of the project.

The meeting, which is open to the public, is scheduled for the following location, date, and time:

4:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Kleinpeter Activity Center
Parishioner’s Hall

Located near the Siegen Lane Exit off of Interstate 10
(Access Parking from Church St. off of Kinglet Drive)

All members of the general public and/or their representatives are welcome to attend for the purposes of becoming acquainted with the project, reviewing findings to date, and providing comments and input. Information regarding acquisition of right-of-way and relocation assistance will be presented, and tentative schedules for right-of-way acquisition and construction will be presented. Written statements or verbal comments may be submitted at the hearing. Written comments may also be mailed to the following address and must be postmarked within ten calendar days following the meeting (September 28, 2015).
