BROUSSARD, LA - Beginning Friday, July 31, until Saturday, August 8, the U.S. 90 westbound frontage road will have intermittent lane closures from the intersection of St. Nazaire to HMS Supply and Rental.

This work is necessary to allow crews to install drainage pipe and is estimated to take place from 6 a.m. until 4 p.m., weather permitting.

Emergency vehicles will have access to the area.

DOTD apologizes for any inconvenience and reminds motorists to be on the lookout for crews and their equipment.

As part of the Geaux South program, current work underway is related to the $57.1 million design-build project that involves widening U.S 90 to six-lanes from Albertson Parkway to north of the Ambassador Caffery intersection. The project will also construct an overpass along U.S. 90 above Albertson Parkway, a new railroad overpass and modify the adjacent frontage roads. Work on the project is slated for completion in mid-2017.
