Bridge Repairs on US 84 Westbound Bridge in Natchez, Miss. and Vidalia, La.

Starting July 6, lane closures will be in place on the eastbound side of the Mississippi River Bridge in Natchez, Miss. and Vidalia, La. for the placement of concrete barriers. Beginning July 13, the westbound side of the bridge will be closed for approximately seven weeks. During this time, traffic will be placed head-to-head on the eastbound bridge while repairs are being made to the westbound bridge. No wide loads over 14 ft. will be allowed on the eastbound side during the westbound closure.

The eastbound lane closures will take place from Monday, July 6 to Saturday, July 11. The westbound closure will begin on Monday, July 13 and last for approximately seven weeks.
