LA 486, Campti – Natchitoches Parish, will be closed at the Kansas City Southern Railroad track.  The work will be done at Milepost 6.180 and is on Control Section 305-30.  The closure will be Tuesday January 15, 2013 from 8:00 AM till Wednesday January 16, 2012 at 5:00 PM.  The closure is for Kansas City Southern Railroad to change the trackpanel and surface thru the crossing.   

The Roadway will be closed completely too all traffic during this time. The Detour will be US 71 South to LA 480 west to LA 486.  The detour can accept oversized loads.  The Detour Route will be identified with proper markings for the general public.  All emergency agencies will be notified of the Road Closure.
