LA 1204 Rapides Parish

The Department of Transportation and Development District 08 Office in Alexandria has advised that LA 1204, Control 840-31, Logmile 1.5 at the Flagon Bayou area in Rapides Parish is CLOSED due to HIGH WATER.
Motorists should drive slowly and carefully, avoid driving while distracted and watch for flooded roadways. Always allow for extra driving time, reduce speeds when visibility is low, and make sure there is plenty of room between vehicles.
DOTD has crews in place to address issues as they occur.
