Main Bridge
Westbound Closure 10:00 P.M. to 1:30 A.M. and Eastbound 1:30 A.M. to 5:00 A.M. (7 hours each night) Tuesday 08 January 2013 and Thursday 10 January 2013 until Sunday 13 January 2013 at 5:00 A.M. (no scheduled closure for Wednesday night Thursday Morning). The reason of the closure is staging of materials for bridge painting and deck installation.
Emergency vehicles will be allowed through.
East bound Closure 1:30 A.M. to 5:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 9th 2013 ending on the 10th. The reason of the closure is staging of material and preparation for upcoming deck work. Emergency vehicles will be allowed through.
Bad weather i.e. rain etc will cancel bridge closures those changes will be reflected on the message boards. The work will be reschedule or resumed the next evening if weather permits.
Eastbank River Road and Levee under the HPL Bridge
Nightly closure to through and Pedestrian Traffic on the Levee 7:00 P.M to 5:00 A.M. (10 hours each night Tuesday 08 January 2013 through Monday 14 January 2013 at 5:00 A.M.). Businesses can be accessed from each direction and Emergency vehicles will be allowed through. The reason for the closure is painting of the steel bridge girders above the road and levee and installation of preformed metal decking over the roadway. Police will be on site to assist.
Clearview Parkway from East Corporate Blvd to Mounes
Alternating lane closure north and southbound 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. and again from 7:00 P.M. to 5:00 A.M. daily, Tuesday 08 January 2013 through Saturday 12 January 2013 at 5:00 A.M. The purpose of the work is to install waterline, new fire hydrants, water service taps, and begin demolition to construct new waterline and median. Demolition work will be done in the evening from 7:00 P.M. to 5:00 A.M. Two lanes on Clearview in either direction will always be open.
Alternating lane closure right lane north and southbound 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and again from 7:00 P.M. to 5:00 A.M. Saturday 12 January 2013 through Sunday 13 January 2013 at 5:00 A.M. Continuing to install waterline and new fire hydrants and water service taps and demolition activity and waterline testing in the evening closures. Two lanes on Clearview in each direction will always be open.
Left lane closure (Northbound Turning lane between East Corporate Blvd to Mounes) 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Wednesday 09 January 2013. The purpose of the work is to temporarily stripe the road for the installation of new waterline and new left turn lane construction in the Clearview median and Mounes. The right lane northbound while this work is being done.
Jefferson Highway East and Westbound
Alternating lane Closures east and west bound 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. (6 hours daily) from Tuesday 08 January 2013 through Friday 11 January 2013 at 3:00 P.M. Completing paving work and manhole adjustments on Jefferson Highway.
Alternating lane Closures east and west bound 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Saturday 12 January 2013. Completing paving work and manhole adjustments on Jefferson Highway.
