US 61 (Airline Hwy) East Baton Rouge Parish

US 61 (Airline Hwy) will have alternating lane closures in each direction on Saturday May 2nd and Sunday May 3rd from 7am to 6pm each day between Barringer Foreman Road and Highland Road. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.These closures are needed for construction work associated with the Antioch Road extension project.
These closures have no vehicle restrictions and no detour is necessary.
These closures are subject to change depending on adverse weather conditions.
DOTD and DPW appreciate your patience and remind motorists to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
