The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that LA 456 at milepost 00 at its Junction with US 71 [at Meeker] in Rapides Parish at the Union Pacific Railroad crossing will be closed PERMANENTLY effective Thursday, December 27, 2012.
