Road Closure LA 1178, Avoyelles Parish,
CS 805-21, MP 0.020,
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that LA 1178 Morrow, Avoyelles Parish, will be closed from at the intersection on LA 1178 and US 71 at the Union Pacific Railroad Tracks. The work will be done at Milepost 0.020 and is on Control Section 805-21. The closure will be on Wednesday December 19, 2012 from 8:00 AM till 5:00 PM. The closure is for Union Pacific to replace the track panel and crossing surface thru the crossing.
Permit/Detour Section
The Roadway will be closed completely too all traffic during this time. The detour will be US 71 North to LA 29 North to LA 1178 West. The detour can accept oversized loads. The detour route will be identified with proper markings for the general public. All emergency agencies will be notified of the road closure.
