Huey P. Long Bridge, Orleans Parish, Road Closure

Saturday 15 December 2012 - There will be ongoing work with Striping etc on the overpass on Saturday the 15th, no lane restrictions will be required for that work main bridge and westbank approaches traffic will remain as normally operate.
On Tuesday 18 December from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. we will complete striping work for the traffic switch between 3:00 P.M. and 3:30 P.M. to complete the work we will have to restrict the westbound main bridge lanes and Westbank Westbound Approach Roadways to one lane as follows:
HPL Westbank Bound Main Bridge to Bridge City Avenue, Dec. 18th, Left lane 9:00 A. M. to 12:00 P.M. (3 hours) and switch to a right lane closure at on the main bridge to bridge city avenue at 12:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Signs and Message boards will be adjusted accordingly. We will be able to accommodate emergency vehicles. Police will be on site to assist.
Complete Westbound closures 10:00 P.M. to 1:30 A.M. and Complete Eastbound Closure 1:30 P.M. to 5:00 A.M. (7 hours each night) Beginning on Saturday 15 December at 10:00 P.M. and Ending Monday 17 December 2012 at 5:00 A.M. The contractor will be installing cross frames and laterals. Emergency vehicles will be allowed through
