DOTD announces temporary lane closure at La. 1 Toll Bridge

PORT FOURCHON, LA – Effective Wednesday, February 18, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development will temporarily close the southbound “cash and credit lane” (right lane) of the toll bridge at La. 1 Highway, in Leeville to perform technology upgrades. The closure will occur from 9 a.m. to early evening.
During the temporary closure, all cash and credit traffic must use the “GeauxPass Tag” lane without stopping to pay. Motorists without a GeauxPass toll tag utilizing the bridge during the maintenance period will be invoiced by mail for the toll only.
