[Updated] LA 427 (Old Perkins Road) Lane Closures, East Baton Rouge and Ascension Parish
Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 5:10:25 PM
East and West bound lanes of Old Perkins Road (LA 427) between Highland Road and the Ascension parish line will have alternating lane closures from 8 pm to 6 am each night from Monday, February 2, 2015 through Friday, February 6, 2015. These closures are necessary for asphalt milling and paving operations.  A minimum of one lane will remain open to traffic at all times.

Motorists should expect delays and be prepared to stop.  This project will allow vehicles 10 feet wide or less to pass through the construction zone during closures.

Work is subject to change depending on adverse weather conditions.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.

If there are any questions or concerns regarding any of these closures, please contact the Area Engineer, Todd Donmyer, at (225) 231-4116. Thank you.
