I-20 eastbound Tremont rest area closing for renovations

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the Tremont Rest Area on I-20 eastbound in Lincoln Parish will close January 26 for renovation. The rest area is expected to remain closed for approximately 18 months. The rest area serving westbound traffic will also undergo renovations, but will remain open during construction and may experience a few closures.
