The New Orleans Regional Planning Commission (RPC), in cooperation with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), proposes to widen a portion of LA 434 (south of Vortisch/Horseshoe Island Road to LA 36) from two lanes to a multi-lane facility and replace the timber trestle bridge over Bayou Lacombe in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.

A public information meeting is planned for:

Tuesday, January 13, 2015, 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. St. Tammany Parish Council Chambers, 21490 Koop Drive Mandeville, LA 70741

The purpose of this meeting is to present information about the project and obtain input from the public. Graphic displays, handouts, and comment forms will be available. Representatives from the consultant team will be present to answer questions and receive comments. Written statements or verbal comments will be received at the meeting. Comments may also be mailed to ARCADIS U.S., Inc., Attention LA 434 Project Manager, 10352 Plaza Americana Dr., Baton Rouge, LA 70816. Comments postmarked by January 23, 2015, will become part of the record of this meeting.
