The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that the work to be done on LA 112 in Lecompte, has been rescheduled for Thursday, January 8, 2015 and will end on Monday, January 12, 2015.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that LA 112 in Lecompte, Rapides Parish, will be closed at the Union Pacific Railroad track. The work is being done on LA 112 approximately 0.07 miles west of the intersection of LA 112 and US 71 in Lecompte (Milepost 80.82; Control Section 073-03). There will be intermittent daytime closures on LA 112 starting on Monday, January 12, 2015 and ending on Saturday, January 17, 2015. Union Pacific Railroad will be replacing rail through the crossing.
Permit/Detour section
The roadway will be closed completely to all traffic during this time. The detour will be LA 112 to US 71 to US 167 to I-49 to LA 112. The detour can accept oversized loads. The detour route will be identified with proper markings for the general public. . All emergency agencies will be notified of the road closure.
