The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that on December 11, 2014 southbound traffic will be shifted west onto the newly constructed roadway. This lane shift will be from 0.25 miles south of LA 107 to approximately 0.25 miles south of Slim Lemoine Lane. In this section of roadway, there will be two way traffic with one northbound lane and two southbound lanes. Southbound lanes will be 12’wide and the northbound lane will remain 11’ wide.
Thru traffic will be maintained at all times with periodic one lane closures. Road work will continue on northbound lanes, so proceed with caution. Delays can be expected. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes if possible.
