DOTD announces traffic change at Pont Des Mouton Road and I-49 service road

LAFAYETTE - Today, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced that on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 7 a.m., a traffic change will take effect at the median crossover on Pont Des Mouton Road at the west I-49 service road (Acadian Hills Lane). The change will prohibit left turns and cross over movements at the I-49 service road onto Pont Des Mouton. This will require motorists traveling on the I-49 service road, who want to travel westbound or eastbound on Pont Des Mouton Road, to make a right turn and utilize the u-turns. Left turns from Pont Des Mouton Road on the I-49 Service Road will still be allowed.
