La. 1 south of Plaquemine - Now changed to Addis in West Baton Rouge Parish

THE RAILROAD TRACK THAT WILL HAVE MAINTENANCE WORK PERFORMED ON THIS DATE HAS BEEN CHANGED AS FOLLOWS:
Both Southbound lanes of La. 1 will be closed at the railroad track crossing 1500 feet south of Chenago Road in Addis, LA on Saturday, November 22 from 8 a.m to 2 p.m. The northbound lanes will not be affected. This closure is needed so that Union Pacific Railroad can make routine repairs to the tracks. Traffic going southbound will not be able to pass through the construction site during this time.
Traffic can detour around this section by use of the La. 1 Service Road at the Chenago Road intersection then detour back onto La. 1 at the next crossover 1000 feet south of the railroad crossing in Addis.
