LA 470, Rapides Parish

LA 470 Lecompte, Rapides Parish, will be closed from at the Union Pacific Railroad track. The work will be done at Milepost 0.04 and is on Control Section 840-05. The closure will be on Thursday December 13, 2012 from 8:00 AM till 6:00 PM. The closure is for Union Pacific to replace the ties thru the crossing.
The Roadway will be closed completely too all traffic during this time. The Detour will be US 71 North to LA 470. The detour can accept oversized loads. The Detour Route will be identified with proper markings for the general public. All emergency agencies will be notified of the Road Closure.
