LA 73 (Government Street) - East Baton Rouge Parish

Intermittent lane closures will be taking place in each direction of LA 73 (Goverrnment Street) from 10 am to 2 pm on Thursday November 6, 2014, Wednesday November 12, 2014, and Thursday November 13, 2014 between South 12th Street and Evergreen Street, as well as between Hebert Street and St. Tammany Street. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times. These closures are required for roadway data collection purposes.
These closures have no vehicle restrictions and no detour is necessary. These closures are subject to change due to adverse weather conditions.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment while this necessary repair to the approach slab is being done.
