The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that on Tuesday, October 21, 2014, starting at 7:30 A.M. until work is complete, La 454 will be closed 0.25 miles west southwest of the junction of La 107 and La 454. We will be replacing a failing cross drain at this location. Weather and equipment permitting the road will be closed starting Tuesday, October 21, 2014 thru Wednesday, October 22, 2014.
Permit/Detour section
From detour site which is located 0.25 miles south, southwest of the south junction of La 454 and la 107 proceed south west along La 454 into Rapides Parish for 13.4 miles to the north junction of La 454 and La 107. From the north junction of La 454 and La 107 proceed south along La 107 for 8.35 miles to the south junction of La 107 and La 454. From this intersection proceed 0.25 miles west, southwest to the road closure. From the road closure located at mile post 0.25 proceed east, northeast along La 454 for 0.25 miles to the south junction of La 107 and La 454. From this intersection proceed north for 8.35 miles to the north junction of La 107 and La 454 which is located in Rapides Parish. From this intersection proceed north, northeast along La 454 into Avoyelles Parish for a distance of 13.4 to the road closure.
