Beginning Sunday, October 5, 2014, US 165, LA 2, US 425/LA 133, and LA 138, Morehouse Parish, in Mer Rouge, Louisiana will be temporarily closed. The purpose of the closure is to allow for clean-up of an incident involving a train derailment. These roads will remain closed until further notice.
The following detour routes have been established:
US 165 Southbound-LA 140 West to US 425 South (at Log Cabin)
US 425 Northbound-LA 3051 West to US 425
LA 2 Westbound-LA 585 South to LA 134 West to US 425
