LA 449 (SW of Pine Grove), Livingston Parish

LA 449 (SW of Pine Grove), from JCT LA 63 (Weiss Road) to 1.5 miles N. of LA 63, will be under construction beginning January 2, 2013. This work is expected to be completed in January 2013. Please be prepared for intermittent delays beginning on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm daily (weather permitting). The lane closures are necessary while crews perform milling, overlay asphalt, and other related work.
This closure will allow vehicles up to 11 feet wide to pass through the construction zone. The road is open for regular traffic but oversize vehicles and loads will be under permit restrictions. To avoid the construction zone, motorists may take LA 63 to LA 16 to LA 449 as an alternate route.
