Cross Drain Replacement Mile Post 2.7

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that on October 7th, 2014 at 8:00 am, LA 485 will be closed 2.7 miles east of its junction with I-49. The intent of this closure is to remove a deteriorated double barrel 24 inch corrugated metal pipe and replace with a double barrel 24 inch corrugated metal pipe. This closure is expected to last 2 days.
Permit/Detour section
The roadway will be closed to all traffic for the duration of the pipe replacement. The detour route is as stated:
South bound traffic on La 485 will detour South on La 1, then West on La 6, to I-49 North, to La 485.
North bound traffic on La 485 will detour to I-49 South, then East on LA 6, to La 1 North, to La 485.
