The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that on Monday, September 22, 2014, road construction work will begin on LA 480 near Campti Louisiana from its junction with US 71 to Clear Lake. The scope of work includes cold planning asphalt, in-place cement treated base course, asphaltic surface treatment, superpave asphaltic concrete, and related work. The project was awarded to the low bidder, Madden Contracting Co., LLC (Minden, LA), in the amount of $2,945,966.13.
Permit/Detour section
Local traffic will be maintained at all times but there will be periodic lane closures and minor delays associated with this work.
