LA 3003, Livingston Parish

In Denham Springs, LA 3003 (Rushing Rd), from JCT LA 3002 (Range Avenue) to Jerelyn Drive, will be under construction beginning December 3, 2012. This work is expected to be completed in June 2013. Please be prepared for intermittent delays beginning on Monday, December 3, 2012 from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm daily (weather permitting). The lane closures are necessary while crews widen the existing roadway, install new storm drain pipe, remove and replace the existing roadway base, install new asphalt pavement, and other related work.
This closure will allow vehicles up to 11 feet wide to pass through the construction zone. The road is open for regular traffic but oversize vehicles and loads will be under permit restrictions. To avoid the construction zone, motorists may take LA 3002 to LA 1034 to LA 1032 to LA 3003 as an alternate route.
