The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced that effectively IMMEDIATELY, the LA 117 Turnlane on Eastbound LA 8/LA 28 in Vernon Parish will be CLOSED until further notice, due to a sewer leak.
Permit/Detour section
Eastbound traffic is encouraged to use the next crossover, which is approximately 300 yards East of the turnlane..
