The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that weather permitting, on Monday, August 18, 2014 road construction work will begin on LA 29 from College Street in Evergreen to Tooney Street in Cottonport.

This 4.9 mile long road preservation project will receive superpave asphaltic concrete patching and a two application surface treatment.

This contract was awarded to the low bidder, Brudd Construction Co., LLC in the amount of $290,995.07.

Permit/Detour Section
The roadway will be open to traffic at all times; however, there will be lane closures.
