Cross Drain Replacement Mile Post 4.9

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LA DOTD), advises the public that on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at 8:00 am, LA 118 East will be closed 4.9 miles east of its junction with LA 117. The intent of this closure is to remove a deteriorated double barrel 48 inch corrugated metal pipe and replace with a double barrel 48 inch corrugated metal pipe. This road will reopen on Friday, August 8, 2014.
Permit/Detour section
The roadway will be closed to all traffic for the duration of the pipe replacement. There will not be a detoured route as LA 118 East ends approximately 1000 feet east of the cross drain replacement site.
