Main Bridge
Complete Westbank Bound Closure 10:00 P.M. to 5:00 A.M. Monday 26 November 2012 (7 hours). Staging of steel girder materials.
Complete Westbank Bound closure 10:00 P.M. to 1:30 A.M. and complete Eastbank bound closure 1:30 A.M. to 5:00 A.M. (7 hours each night). Tuesday 27 November 2012 through Friday 30 November to 12 at 5:00 A.M. Staging of bridge steel materials for girders and cross frames. Emergency vehicles will be allowed through.
Complete Eastbank Bound Bridge beginning at 10:00 P.M. on Friday 30 November 2012 and Ending at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday 01 December 2012 (14 hours). At 12:00 P.M. the right lane of the eastbound bridge will be reopened to light commercial truck traffic and personal vehicles until 10:00 P.M. on Saturday 01 December 2012. At 10:00 P.M. on Saturday 01 December 2012 the Eastbank bound bridge will be closed until 12:00 P.M. on Sunday 02 December 2012 (14 hours). At 12:00 P.M. the Eastbank bound right hand lane will be reopened. Both lanes of the Eastbank bound bridge will be reopened at 5:00 A.M. on Monday 03 December 2012. Emergency vehicles will be allowed through. The Westbank bound lanes of the bridge will remain open during both Eastbound closures. The reason for the closure is placing concrete deck on the Eastbank bound Westbank approach.
West Bank River Road (LA 541)
Complete closure to through Traffic 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. each day Monday 26 November 2012 and Friday November 30 2012 at 2:00 P.M. Detour will be clearly marked. Erecting work and painting platforms West bank Girders and removing Westbank bound overhangs. Emergency vehicles will be allowed through.
Complete Closure to through traffic 8:00 P.M. Friday 30 November 2012 through 5:00 A.M. Monday 03 December 2012 (all weekend). Erecting work platforms east and west bound approach girders over LA 541.
Bridge City Avenue-Seven Oaks Blvd at US 90 Westbound
Detour for Westbound Traffic on Bridge City Avenue to sixth street 12:00 A.M. to 5:00 A.M. Wednesday 26 November 2012. Slip forming concrete barrier on the new westbound overpass. Emergency vehicles will be allowed through. Police will be present to assist.
US 90 Eastbound and U-turn at Bridge City Avenue-Seven Oaks Blvd.
Left lane and U-turn Closures 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Westbound US 90 Monday 26 December 2012 through Wednesday 28 November 2012 at 2:00 P.M. Painting of bridge beams and approach curtain walls.
Clearview Parkway Northbound (East Corporate to Mounes)
Right lane closure 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Daily Monday 26 November 2012 through Friday 30 December 2012. Installing new water service line.
Jefferson Highway Westbound at new Westbound Flyover Ramp
Detour of westbound traffic at the Clearview frontage road to Mounes 12:00 A.M. to 5:00 A.M. Friday 30 November 2012. Slip forming concrete barrier on the new westbound overpass Emergency vehicles will be allowed through. Police will be present to assist. If weather prevents the work it will be done on Saturday 01 December 2012 12:00 A.M. to 5:00 A.M.
Jefferson Highway East and Westbound
Alternating lane closures Saturday 01 December 2012 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Completing Ashphalt Paving work and repairs. Police will be present. All businesses will have full access for customers.
