LA 1030, Livingston Parish, Notice of Upcoming Construction, S.P. H.008178

LA 1030 (Cockerham Road), FROM LA 16 – LA 1026 (Lockhart Road), will be under construction beginning Friday, November 9, 2012. This work is expected to be completed in February, 2014. Please be prepared for intermittent delays beginning on Friday, November 9, 2012 from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm daily (weather permitting). The lane closures are necessary while crews install subsurface drainage, install curb and gutter, install new asphalt pavement, install new sidewalks, and other related work.

This closure will allow vehicles up to 11 feet wide to pass through the construction zone. The road is open for regular traffic but oversize vehicles and loads will be under permit restrictions. To avoid the construction zone, motorists may take LA 16 to LA 1026 (Lockhart Road) as an alternate route.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
