DOTD announces boat launch at Grand Prairie Rest Area now open; rest area and restroom facilities remain closed

GRAND PRAIRIE, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that the boat launch to access Dubisson Lake at the Grand Prairie Rest Area is now open to the public. However, the rest area and restrooms remain closed for renovation.
The entire rest area is estimated to reopen in spring 2014, weather permitting.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
