UPDATE: DOTD reports multiple closures due to inclement weather

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the following update for roadway closures in respective parishes. Motorists are urged to stay off the roads whenever possible and use extra caution if traveling during hazardous weather conditions.

 

As a reminder, the Lower Algiers to Chalmette ferry remains out of service.

 

Orleans Parish

·         I-10 Twin Span Bridge (REOPENED)

·         Crescent City Connection Bridge/U.S. 90 B HOV lanes

·         Danziger Bridge/U.S. 90 (One lane open in both directions)

·         Judge Seeber/Claiborne Avenue Bridge at La. 39

·         Paris Road /Green Bridge across the Mississippi River Gulf Outlet at La. 47

·         Ted Hickey/Seabrook Bridge on Leon C. Simon

 

Orleans/Plaquemines Parishes

·         La. 407/Lower Coast Algiers Bridge across Intracoastal Waterway (REOPENED)

 

Orleans/St. Tammany Parishes

·         U.S. Highway 11 Bridge across Lake Pontchartrain (REOPENED)

 

Jefferson/Orleans Parishes

 

·         Huey P. Long Bridge/U.S. 90

·         I-10 East between Laplace and Kenner

 

Lafourche Parish

·         Bayou Lafourche Bridges

o   Bellevue Bridge (REOPENED)

o   Rita Bridge (REOPENED)

o   St. Charles Bridge (REOPENED)

 

St. Charles Parish

·         I-10 East between Laplace and Kenner

·         I-10 West at I-310

·         I-310/Airline Interchange ramps (REOPENED)

·         I-310/Luling Bridge  (All lanes open in both directions)

 

Terrebonne Parish

·         La. 315/Bayou Du Large Bridge (REOPENED)

·         U.S. 90 West, Amelia, La. (western Terrebonne Parish line) to La. 311

 

DOTD is working with local law enforcement and will advise of further updates.
