NEW ORLEANS, LA – To accommodate current ferry customers, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces it will extend the deadline for accepting previously purchased ferry script tickets. Tickets purchased prior to June 30, 2013, will be valid through the end of the fiscal year and will not be accepted after June 30, 2014.
The deadline is affective for the following ferry locations.
- Algiers
- Chalmette
- Plaquemine/Sunshine
- Cameron/Holly Beach
- Duty/Enterprise
DOTD discontinued the sale of the non-refundable ferry script tickets after the 2012-2013 fiscal year in order to streamline operations and reduce operating costs.
