New Orleans, LA – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces the Harvey Tunnel in Jefferson Parish will be closed for maintenance on Wednesday, December 4 (east bound) and Thursday, December 5 (west bound) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., both days.

During the closure, DOTD work crews will be performing cleaning operations.

Motorists may use the elevated Westbank Expressway as an alternate route.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds drivers to please drive with caution and be on the lookout for construction crews and their equipment.
