BATON ROUGE – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced that La. 408 is now open. Hooper Road in Baton Rouge was closed from Carmel Drive to Tanglewood Drive on Thursday, Nov. 7.

Although the repair work was expected to be finished on Sunday, crews finished repairs to a box culvert (or drainage pipe) with road erosion on Saturday about 5 p.m.
